PUCHONG SHOCKER – TEACHER ROBBED WHILE TEACHING IN CLASS: WHERE HAVE ALL THE POLICE GONE? TOO BUSY POLITICKING OR PROBING ‘FAKE NEWS’ CASES?

SUBANG JAYA – A teacher was injured when she was robbed while teaching at a primary school in Puchong Indah on Thursday afternoon.
The 30-year-old victim was sitting at her desk after asking her pupils to copy notes when the “surprise visitor” rushed into the classroom at 5.20pm.
The man, who was wearing a red helmet, came into the classroom holding a piece of paper pretending to ask the teacher how to get to another classroom.
Subang Jaya district police chief Assistant Commissioner Mohammad Azlin Sadari said before the victim could answer, the suspect snatched her bag that was on the desk.
“The victim tried to get back her bag, but was unsuccessful. The suspect then fled the scene.
“She sustained injuries to her right knee in the incident,” he said today.
Azlin said initial investigations revealed that the suspect had entered the school compound through a back door that was unlocked before heading to the classroom that located at the end of the school.
“It is possible that the suspect had targeted the classroom as it is located next to the back door.
“There were two security guards in the school compound when the incident happened. Investigations are still ongoing,” he said.
The victim lost her house key, car key, RM100 and her documents – driving licence, MyKad and ATM cards.
The investigation is carried out under Section 392 of the Penal Code for robbery.
